Brussels: The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has asked its 32 member countries to stop pilots possesing Pakistani licenses from flying.
The EASA has written a letter to the aviation authorities of the member countries to stop Pakistani pilots from performing operational duties for the time being in the wake of dubious licenses.
It also asked the member countries to explain if they have any Pakistani pilots then what action has been taken against them.
We have received complaints of fake licenses. This situation in the aviation industry is a cause of concern, the letter added.
The said letter was circulated among the 32 EU countries on July 7.
