Karachi: Renowned scholar Mufti Taqi Usmani has termed the selling of land by Kashmiri Muslims to Indian Hindus as a grave sin.
“Selling of Kashmiri land to Indian Hindus will be tantamount to a high treason not only with the people of Kashmir but with the entire Islamic world,” Mufti Usmani said in his fatwa posted on his Twitter account.

Taqi Usmani said that India wanted to convert Muslims’ majority into minority. Kashmiri Muslims should foil this Indian plan, he added.
He said that the holy Quran and the Sunnah are very clear that selling out anything to infidel, which may be used against the interests of Muslims is a sin and treason.
