Former AJK prime minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has said that good news is on the way for PTI members looking for a position of leadership in other parties.

“You will hear good news in days to come. Our understanding with Jahangir Tareen is that we will move forward together,” he said.

Responding to a question, Ilyas said work was underway regarding the formation of a new party. “There will be no separate group and all people will be together in one place.”

PTI defector and former AJK prime minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has said that he wanted to play a role on the national level, stressing “our first priority is Pakistan”.

In a media talk after a meeting with Jahangir Khan Tareen, he announced support for the former and hinted that the formation of a new political party was on the cards.

“As I said, we and Jahangir Tareen want to move forward together,” he added.

Standing alongside Ilyas, former Punjab minister Nauman Langrial said, “We will welcome anyone who is ready to leave the PTI and its narrative.”
