ISLAMABAD: The heat-stricken masses in federal capital and several cities of Punjab took a sigh of relief as weather turned pleasant after heavy rain early Monday morning.
According to a private news channel, heavy rain with strong winds lashed Lahore early Monday.Several feeders in Lahore were tripped due to rain, plunging most parts of the city into darkness.Strong winds also uprooted number of trees in the city.
Rain was also reported from Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Daska, Muridke and some other cities of Punjab.
The Met Office has forecast rain with strong winds in Hazara, Malakand, FATA, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and other areas during next 24 hours.
