ISLAMABAD: Former Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that new delimitations are illegal, delimitation can be done after the census. If there are new delimitations then there will be no elections.
Speaking to media outside the Supreme Court, Fawad Chaudhry said that the Election Commission should be ready for the elections at all times.
There are 2 prime ministers in the country, less than a month has passed since the government came and 4 foreign visits have been made. Hamza Shahbaz is the so called chief minister, Punjab is a big province but the situation is strange.
One finance minister is sitting in London and the other is sitting in Pakistan. Rana Sanaullah cannot stay in Pakistan by sending Imran Khan to jail.
He said that we had left a stable economy. These people want to bankrupt Pakistan so that the assets go abroad. The stock exchange is down and the dollar has gone up to Rs193, shaking the economy of the whole country in a month and a half. Yes, Sri Lanka did not have the money to import oil, a similar situation is being created here as Pakistan’s economy has been severely damaged.
I think the experience is enough, we have not approved the government even one day ahead of 90 days. Caretaker government should be formed. It is very important to get Pakistan out of crisis now, this is not a problem of any political party but the problem of the country.
Earlier, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has said that Saudi Arabia, the United States and other countries have refused to support the current government.
Addressing a press conference Saturday, he also said that there was a serious crisis of leadership in the country as key positions including that of Punjab governor and State Bank of Pakistan governor had been left vacant by the present government.
In the past nine days, the rupee had fallen by Rs15 against the US dollar, the stock market was falling, he said.
Fawad Chaudhry said that the government thought that they would get money from Saudi Arabia and the United States, but since the world traditionally cared for public reaction and they saw that the people had stood behind Imran Khan, they refused to support the government.
