KARACHI: Former Pakistan pacer and captain Wasim Akram, who has been the bowling coach and mentor of Kolkata Knight Riders, will not participate in Indian Premier League’s (IPL) 2017 edition due to professional commitments.
According to a press release, the swing star would be unable to continue his role with the team next year.
“Bowling coach and mentor, Wasim Akram will miss the upcoming IPL 2017 season,” said the statement from Kolkata Knight Riders
