WASHINGTON: US lawmakers have asked India to allow foreign journalists and Congressmen free access to occupied Kashmir.

In a letter written to Indian Envoy to US Harsh Vardhan Shringla, six American lawmakers asked New Delhi to allow free access to foreign journalists and Congressmen to the  occupied valley.

According to The Hindu, the  US officials claimed that the picture of occupied Kashmir painted by New Delhi is totally different from the one being told to them by their constituents.
