The Indian Punjab government has announced to provide up to 300 units of free electricity to the people.
According to Indian media reports, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that his government was fulfilling its promise to the people of the state, now up to 300 units of free electricity will be provided to the people.
He said that previous governments used to make promises but five years of their rule would pass but they do not fulfill their promises.
He said that Aam Aadmi Party had fulfilled its election promise to the people today and the people of Punjab would now get huge relief in electricity bills.
The Chief Minister said that he would significantly reduce the expenditure of the government and increase the tax net.
