Unnecessary movement of citizens banned after 8pm across Sindh

KARACHI: In a latest development to stem Covid spread, the Sindh government has banned unnecessary movement of citizens after 8pm in all the cities.

The decision was made in a Sindh task force meeting held under the chairmanship Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Monday. In this connection, the chief minister directed the IG to stop people moving in vehicles. Only the movement required in emergency situation including taking patient to a hospital will be allowed.

The meeting reviewed the over all coronavirus situation in the province.

The meeting decided that all the businesses will close by 6pm from today in the province. The markets and shops  are allowed to open from 5am to 6pm. However, bakeries, milk shops, pharmacies are allowed to open till midnight. Fridays and Sundays will be observed as safe days.
