Two missiles hit Iranian oil tanker near Saudi port

An Iranian oil tanker was reportedly hit by a suspected missile strikes near Saudi port of Jeddah, the ship owner said on Friday.

According to statement released by the National Iranian Tanker Company (NITC), the hull of the Sabiti was hit by two separate explosions about 100 kilometres (60 miles) off the Saudi coast causing oil to leak into the Red Sea.

It claimed the blasts were “probably caused by missile strikes”. “All the ship´s crew are safe and the ship is stable too,” said NITC.
