ISLAMABAD: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday telephoned President Mamnoon Hussain and strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Lahore.
President Erdogan while expressing solidarity said the government and people of Turkey stand with their Pakistani brethren.
He said the challenge of terrorism calls for concerted collective efforts and said both Pakistan and Turkey need to work closely to counter the threat.
President Mamnoon Hussain thanked his Turkish counterpart and said both the countries were tied in strong bonds of friendship to tackle all challenges.
