Traditional policing no more needed: Chaudhry Nisar

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar on Wednesday said that Pakistan has no more needed traditional policing and prize money would be given to the police official seizes vehicle with black tinted glasses.

Chaudhry Nisar was addressing Police Darbar in Islamabad where he said that there was no need of traditional policing in the country. He slammed trend for suspending police officials over stopping vehicles with tinted glasses.

Nisar added that he has not tinted window glasses of his own vehicle and police officials seizing high-ups vehicles violating regulations would be awarded now.

He said that there was no need to tell him decreasing number of robbery incidents but no officers will be suspended over negligence. He said that negligent officials should leave department of Islamabad Police. He ordered police officials not to smoke during duty hours.
