RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif said, “together We will defeat any nefarious designs of hurting Pakistan and root out hostile elements out of our country.”
COAS was briefed in Headquarter Southern Command on security situation of the province. He appreciated the efforts of law enforcement agencies, specially intelligence agencies for unearthing foreign intelligence network.
He emphasized Pakistan’s resolve and determination to confront global phenomenon of terrorism and extremism.
“No military of world able to synergise effects as much as Pakistan Army could do single handedly,” he said and added that rightly proud of commanding dynamic and resolute force.
Dilating on the effects of Operation Zarb-e-Azb, he explained how we had transited from hard core kinetic operation to intelligence based operations and now combing operations.
Vision of conclusion of operations, he reiterated, we are not there yet, more work to do to achieve final objective of fully peaceful and prosperous Pakistan.
