FAISALABAD: Three persons including a woman were killed in different road traffic accidents in and around Faisalabad during last 24 hours.
A police spokesman said here Wednesday that a van hit a motorcycle near Chak No.412-GB. As a result, a youth Hasan Ali resident of Chak 410-GB and his mother Meraj Bibi received serious injuries and died on the spot.
In another accident, 50-year-old Muhammad Lateef resident of Chak No.296-RB was killed when a speedy car hit his bike at Risala Road in Samanabad.
The police took the bodies into its custody and shifted them to mortuary for postmortem. Further investigation in this regard was under progress.
