As many as three children playing outside the school were dead when an explosive stuffed inside the pillow want off in Southern Afghanistan.
According to reports, three children were dead on the sport while six other were injured in the incident.
Spokesperson of Kandahar province Police Ahmed Zia Durrani said that the incident happened at a madrasa, or Islamic school, that has dormitories where students sleep.
It was not immediately clear who was behind the blast or if anyone intended for the explosives to go off near the schoolchildren.
Still, such bloodshed is all too common in Afghanistan.
