BIRMINGHAM: England needed 117 runs to win the Ashes third Test against Australia. Australia won the toss and decided to bat first.

Australia scored 136 runs in the first inning and 265 in the second inning. While England scored 281 runs in its first inning and are playing on 4 in the second inning.

Australian opener Rogers scored 52 runs in the first inning. On the other hand England’s bowler Anderson took 6 wickets. While Broad and Finn grabbed two wickets each.

England’s batsman Root scored 63 runs and Ali made 59 runs in its first inning. While Australian bowlers Hazlewood and Lyon took three wickets each in the inning.

While in the second inning, Australian batsmen Warner, Nevill and Starc scored 77, 59, 58 respectively. England’s bowler Finn took 6 wicket in the inning. While Anderson, Broad, Ali and Stokes grabbed one wicket each.
