ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Monday reviewed target of tax collection after facing failures to get major achievement for tax collection of Rs2691 billion in current fiscal year.
FBR sources said that the institution faced difficulties to meet month target of Rs310 billion tax collection.
The revenue board managed to collect Rs1760 billion tax collection during first nine months of the fiscal year while Rs931 billion was still due to be collected in remaining three months, sources added.
