KABUL: The Taliban have seized control of Jowzjan’s capital, Shibarghan, after Afghanistan’s Nimruz province.
Talking to media, Deputy Governor Jowzjan confirmed the Taliban’s occupation of Shiberghan and said that the Taliban had taken control of the capital of Jowzjan.
According to Khyber Agency, Shibarghan is the second provincial capital under Taliban control.
The Afghan Taliban also set fire to the house of Marshal Abdul Rashid Dostum yesterday and seized the Sheberghan police headquarters.
