Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) newest franchise, Multan Sultans, are likely to sign former captain Shoaib Malik, as Karachi Kings released their captain.

The veteran all-rounder, who represented the Kings in the first two editions of the league, would be the most probable choice for Wasim Akram and Co. when they present their picks on October 10.

Mohammad Irfan, who was released by Islamabad United, is likely to lead the attack for Sultans with former Peshawar Zalmi pacer Juniad Khan.

With Sultans have just four days left to announce their picks, they have plenty of good options available for selection.
