CHITTAGONG: South Africa steady after losing an early wicket as the visitors scored 104 at lunch in 1st Test against Bangladesh.

Bangladesh struck early in the inning in shape of Stiaan van Zy who was batting on 34 runs courtesy of Mahmudullah.

But Faf du Plessis and Dean Elgar made 46 runs partnership and survived the first session on the game without losing further wickets.

Du Plessis is still unbeaten on 33 along with Elgar who made 30 at lunch Day 1.
