Six killed in separate incidents

FAISALABAD: Six persons were killed in separate accidents in and around city during last 12 hours.

Police spokesman said here Sunday, a speedy trailer hit a motorcycle rickshaw near Dalowal at Sammundri Road. As a result, rickshaw driver Shan of Abdullah Pur received serious injuries and died on spot.

In another accident, a speedy wagon collided with a tractor trolley near Jallah Mor. As a result wagon driver Ramzan and a passenger Azmat received serious injuries and died on spot whereas 15 other passengers–Allah Yar, Abid Husain, Shumaila Bibi, Asghar, Shazia, Razia, Muhammad Anwar, Safia, Talib Hussain, Tayyabah, Zainab, Tariq, Rehan, Shafiq and Ayesha received injuries and were shifted to hospital.

In third accident, Hafiz Shoaib Chishti (18) of Chak No.31-JB was killed when a speedy truck hit him. In another accident Noor Hussain died on spot when his bike with a van near Rasheed Abad at Jhang Road.

Meanwhile, Sahib Bibi of Chak Jhumra received burn injuries while cooking food at home and died in Allied Hospital here today.
