KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq criticised failure of high-ups in controlling peacefulness in the metropolis and said that innocent persons including men, women and children were savagely targeted inside a bus.

He said that judicial system went rotten in the country which is not delivering justice to the victims.

JI Ameer said that facilities were only being provided to the VIPs and VVIPs but not for poor citizens which led them towards suicide. Sirajul Haq said that he would not leave nation and JI workers alone in the deteriorated situation in Pakistan.

JI Ameer slammed Sindh government over severe negligence to resolve issues of Sindh citizens including water crisis. He said that Chief Minister Sindh apparently wanted to transform Karachi into Tharparker. He advised him to turn Tharparker into Karachi. He said that Naimatullah Khan and Abdul Sattar Afghani were honesty icons of Karachi.

While commenting over defeat in election, Sirajul Haq said although they lose election but not the faith. He urged authorities to organise next election via bio-metric system. He also demanded to scrutinise electoral lists and delimitations.

During his speech, JI central leadership was also present in the convention including JI Ameer Sindh Dr. Mairajul Huda Siddiqui, JI Ameer Karachi Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, JI Naib Ameer Muhammad Hussain Mehnti and various others.

He demanded federal government to allocate Rs500 billion funds for Karachi as prosperity of Pakistan linked with a prosper Karachi.

He appealed Pakistanis to support Jamaat-e-Islami comprising of honest and eligible leadership to make Pakistan an Islamic and prosper state.
