Sindh sending aid worth 20m to storm hit KP: Qaim

KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Monday informed media that the Sindh government is sending medical and humanitarian aid worth 20 million rupees to calamity hit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

The CM Sindh expressed grief over the recent rainstorm in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and said that people of Sindh will stand by their brethren in Pakistan’s northwestern province in this hour of test.

Shah informed media that food and medicine worth 20 million rupees is being sent to the province hit by disastrous thunderstorm.

Atleast 45 people were killed and many were rendered homeless as disastrous rainstorm  hit KP province on Sunday night. Pakistan army and welfare agencies are doing the rescue work in the area despite hurdles and heavy shower at intervals.
