MUMBAI: Shiv Sena workers have stormed the office of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in Mumbai to protest BCCI officials meeting with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Shahryar Khan on Monday.

Shahryar Khan and the head of PCB’s executive committee Najam Sethi on Sunday arrived in India in a bid to convince the BCCI to confirm the India-Pakistan cricket series in December.

They were invited by Shashank Manohar who took over as the new Indian cricket chief, an official in the PCB said.

Shaharyar and Sethi are scheduled to meet BCCI chief Manohar, BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur and other government officials.
