ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Shibli Faraz has asked the opposition to hold the long match if it wishes, adding that now stability has come in the country.

Addressing a presser here on Saturday, the federal minister said that the government was carrying out development work in the areas that were neglected in the past. He added that the newly-elected Senate chairman hails from Balochistan while the deputy chairman belongs to  FATA.

The prime minister had announced an historic package for Balochistan and a Rs100 billion annual budget for FATA. The merger of FATA was not an easy task that was done by the prime minister.

It was prime minister’s long standing wish to do something for the areas which were ignored in the past, Faraz said.
