SHEIKHUPURA: At least seven terrorists were killed in an encounter with law-enforcement agencies near Sheikhupura on Tuesday night.
According to Counterterror Department, a group of 12 terrorists belonging to TTP and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi was travelling to Sharaqpur on motorcycles when the CTD personnel intercepted them on Sheikhupura-Sharaqpur Road.
Seven terrorists were killed in the gun battle with security officials while five of them escaped from the scene.
