Seven people were shot dead while sleeping in their quarters in Sarbandar area of Gwadar.
According to SHO Gwadar Police Station Mohsin Ali, unknown persons opened fire on a residential quarter near Gwadar Fish Harbor and as a result of which seven people were killed and one other injured.
Mohsin Ali says that the dead and injured people used to work at a barber shop in Sarbandar. The dead bodies and the injured person have been shifted to Gwadar Hospital.
According to SHO, the dead and injured persons belong to Khanewal district of Punjab.
It should be remembered that some time ago miscreants tried to attack Gwadar Airport which was foiled by the security personnel.
