LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) supremo Altaf Hussain claimed that locals have unanimously demanded establishment of new province in order to get proper administration and resolution of their issues.

Altaf Hussain made an interesting twist in his statement saying ‘new province is a public demand but not of MQM with whatsoever name, Karachi, Sindh I, Sindh II or something else as it doesn’t matter.’

MQM chief hailed its new statement while addressing MQM coordination committee and activists. He claimed ‘new province is voice of every citizen residing in Sindh and locals are the authority to suggest better name.’

He said that biased rulers laid foundation of an independent province in 1973.
