Senate election: PTI expels two MPAs over violating party discipline

KARACHI: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has expelled two members over violating party discipline in the Senate elections.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has taken action against two members of Sindh Assembly for deviating from the party’s strategy.

Aslam Abro from PS-1 Jacobabad-1 and Shahriar Khan Shar from PS-18 / Ghotki-1 have been expelled from the party.

Both the members from Sindh have been removed from the basic party membership of the Provincial Assembly. PTI’s Standing Committee on Discipline and Accountability West Sindh and Karachi issued a unanimous decision.
