LONDON: Renowned physicist Stephen Hawking and Russian tycoon Yuri Milner have announced to launch a campaign to search alien in the universe. They allocated 100 million dollars for the project.

While addressing a press conference at London, Hawking said, “We believe that life arose spontaneously on Earth so in an infinite universe, there must be other occurrences of life.”

University of California astronomer Geoffrey Marcy said, “The universe is apparently bulging at the seams with the ingredients of biology.

Scientists have found a surprising number of Earth-like exoplanets in recent years and they believe the life could be exists in the universe except the Earth.

The project will allow scientists to collect as much data on SETI in a day as they now do in a year. The data will be available to the common public. So anyone can help search for the radio signals that could be used to track down alien civilizations.
