Riyadh: King Salman bin Abdulaziz has directed the private companies not to fire their employees over lockdown in the country.
In the order, he asked the industrialists not to sack their workers as the government would pay 60 per cent of the three-month salaries of the workers.
According to the Saudi finance minister, the government had taken the initiative over fear of losing jobs by thousands of daily wage workers as a result of the ongoing lockdown.
