Saudi Crown Prince calls PM Shehbaz, invites him to Riyadh

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has been invited by Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman to visit the kingdom.

The Saudi Crown Prince called Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and invited him to visit Saudi Arabia. Muhammad bin Salman congratulated Shehbaz Sharif on assuming the office of prime minister.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have fraternal relations and he thanked the Saudi Crown Prince for the congratulations.

The prime minister paid rich tributes to Shah Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the custodian of the two holy mosque, and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman for their remarkable development of the kingdom under their visionary leadership.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked Saudi Arabia for its historic and continued support and cooperation in bilateral and international forums, assuring the Crown Prince that Pakistan will always stand by the state.

The Saudi Crown Prince has invited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to pay an official visit to the kingdom as soon as possible. Thanking the Crown Prince for the invitation, the prime minister also invited the Crown Prince to pay an official visit to Pakistan.

Last month, the Saudi government has allowed women between the ages of 18 and 65 to perform Umrah without male guardians.

According to Arab media, the Saudi government has made it a condition of allowing women between the ages of 18 and 65 performing Umrah that such women must be part of the group.

In this regard, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that this decision is part of the social reforms proposed by Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.

The announcement said that women who have taken a dose of vaccine against Corona and are not suffering from any disease are allowed to perform Umrah.

The announcement further said that Saudi citizens who have not been able to perform Hajj for the last five years will be able to register for Hajj this year.

Last week, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has allowed unvaccinated people to perform Umrah and prayers at the Masjid Al-Haram.

According to Arab media, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has issued a message in this regard.
