Samsam Bukhari announced his separation from Tareen group

LAHORE: Samsam Bukhari, the fourth Punjab minister also announced his separation from the Tareen group on Thursday.

Punjab Minister Samsam Bukhari, while announcing his separation from Tareen Group, said that he would meet the prime minister at the Chief Minister’s House today.

Samsam Bukhari said that he personally met Noman Langarial of Tarin group. Noman Langarial is younger brother and he has personal relationship with him.

The provincial minister said that he had never attended any political meeting of Tareen group.

It may be recalled that Asif Nikai and Sardar Khurram Leghari had already announced to part ways with Tareen group.

Yesterday, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Parliamentary Affairs Babar Awan had warned that the assembly membership of PTI MNAs would be terminated if they vote on the no-confidence motion.

Babar Awan has said that if any member of the government votes on the no-confidence motion of the opposition against Prime Minister Imran Khan, he will be expelled from the party and also his assembly membership will be terminated.

Speaking on Hum News show on Wednesday, he said that under Article A of the Constitution, if a member of the assembly votes in favor of the other party during the approval of budget or no-confidence, his membership is terminated.

The PM’s aide said that the opposition had failed before and would continue to fail.

On the issue of Qasim Suri, the opposition had asked me for face saving, he added. However, I said this is a constitutional matter, it is not possible now ,to which they had to withdraw the movement, he added.

He said that the campaign against the prime minister was started without any doubt at the behest of external forces. The series began with the Prime Minister’s denial of bases to the West. The campaign is being run by opposition people whose assets are out, Awan said.
