ISLAMABAD: Alleged rigging in National Assembly’s constituency NA-125 during General elections 2013, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique gets a clean chit in the case.

Saad Rafique had been elected from the constituency during the polls from NA 125. PTI’s Hamid Khan challenged the polls results and asked the election tribunal re-polling.

Election tribunal on the basis of the petition filed by Hamid Khan, nullified NA-125 polls and ordered that re-election in the constituency.

Rafique, challenged the judgement in Supreme Court.

However, today Supreme Court’s two member bench headed by Justice Azmat Saeed Sheikh dismissed the election tribunals verdict and liberated Saad Rafique from the charges.
