Rulers responsible for corruption, JI to re-launch Pakistan movement: Siraj

LAHORE: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan, Sirajul Haq has said that sitting leaders of the incumbent government are responsible for the corruption in country and JI will re-launch Pakistan Movement with its true spirit.

Talking to media persons here on Sunday, Siraj ul Haq said that ruling elite class utilized its power to plunder the national exchequer rendering irreparable loss to the economy of the country.

He said masses wanted to eradicate the menace of corruption and were ready to render every sacrifice for this noble cause.

The JI chief said that our rulers have been disloyal with the ideology of Pakistan and they haven’t squandered any opportunity of harming the national interest.

He lambasted the claims of Sharif brothers of gifts worth million from Qatari prince saying we are gifted only with dates and ‘zamzam’ but how could the Arab leaders gift property worth millions to the Sharif family.

Siraj said that the masses wanted the rulers to form commission for probing into the corruption charges and putting the corrupt rulers behind bars.

The JI chief said that how could be the country pave on venue of development and progress when the rulers their self were not fair and honest in their deeds.

Sirajul Haq said that eradication of interest based system, uniform education system and enforcement of Islamic system were among the top priorities of the JI agenda and it will continue struggle till the achievements of the said goals.
