ISLAMABAD: Awami Muslim League leader Sheikh Rasheed has said that the rulers cannot stop the long march. There will be important decisions soon. This will be done to help deal with the economic, political and administrative crisis, he said.
Former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed has said that the rulers cannot block the path of Imran Khan’s long march. According to political estimates, important decisions may come before May 31. 2-4 days can be up and down for important decisions.
He said that Pakistan Army would never open fire on its citizens. He said that Pakistan Army would never see the economy of the country being destroyed.
He said that the government is trying to drag the army into politics. The rulers are trying to get the issue of petrol, gas and electricity resolved in the National Security Council.
He says that what the rulers thought would not happen. They have fallen into their own trap. They have fallen into the pit that the rulers dug for Imran Khan.
He said that there is only one vote majority in Center and Punjab. These people had come to end their cases. They will have to face the prisons soon, he said.
Earlier, former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed had predicted elections in September.
Talking to a local TV, Sheikh Rasheed said that economists are being invited to Rawalpindi, Islamabad for the interview of caretaker Prime Minister.
He said that majority of intelligence agencies were of the view that elections were the only solution.
Sheikh Rasheed further said that they were, are and will remain special to the institutions, the government contacted the institutions and asked for one and half year guarantee but the institutions did not give. When the institutions became neutral and separated themselves, the government is no longer running from them.
Earlier, Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed has announced to go to the Supreme Court if overseas Pakistanis are not given the right to vote.
In a statement, Sheikh Rasheed said that the country was running with the money of 10 million overseas Pakistanis.
He said that overseas Pakistanis would also protest against this decision of the present government.
It should be noted that Law Minister Nazir Tarar during a meeting said that we are a poor country, we can not vote by setting up polling stations around the world. Even in embassies, such a large scale overseas voting is not possible.
