Dacoits looted Rs450 million from gold shop in Islamabad

Islamabad: A case has been registered of a Rs450 million dacoity, the biggest ever in the capital, here on Tuesday.

According to an FIR registered with the Kohisaar police station, robbers came to a gold shop, Honey Jewelers, located in Sector E-4/11, looted jewelry and cash worth Rs450 million and ran away.

The FIR says that three gunmen came to the shop at around 1:15 pm in the garb of customers and looted more than 350 to 400 tolas of gold and Rs4 million in cash.

The case has been registered on the complaint of Sheikh Muhammad Fareed, the owner of the jeweler shop.

This dacoity is being considered as the biggest in the history of Islamabad.
