Ronaldo wins record 4th Golden Boot

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has received a record fourth Golden Boot after topping Europe’s goal scoring charts for the 2014/15 season.

The Portuguese skipper scored 48 goals in 35 La Liga appearances last term to win the honour for the third time at Madrid, with his other triumph coming during the 2007/08 season at Manchester United.

He has becomes the first player in the awards’ illustrious 47-year history to win the accolade four times.

The 30-year-old also became Madrid’s all-time leading scorer on Sept. 30 with 324 goals, surpassing Raul Gonzalez’s previous mark.
