NAWABSHAH: A notorious robber was killed while his two accomplices managed to flee in a police encounter here on Sunday.
The police chased and approached a three-member gang of robbers fleeing after committing a robbery and an exchange of fire took place at Satth Meel Road in Nawabshah.
In firing of police notorious robber identified as Aslam Macchi was killed while his two cohorts managed to escape from the scene. Arms and looted valuables were recovered from the possession of the robbers killed in encounter.
The body was shifted to Peoples Medical Hospital for postmortem.
