A retired army officer was shot dead in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA) neighbourhood on Saturday.
As per details, unidentified men riding a motorbike shot dead Major Ali Raza in DHA’s Phase 1.
The body of the deceased was brought to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).
AIG Karachi Mushtaq Ahmed Mahar told media that police are probing as to whether it is targeted killing or sectarian or robbery related incident. At present, exact motive of the murder could not be confirmed, he added.
