RAWALPINDI: President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mian Humayun Parvez has appreciated steps of TEVTA to eliminate the un-employment and to provide skilled manpower to industries easily. He said the TEVTA is playing pivotal role in provision of skilled persons to the industries.
This was stated by him during a meeting with the delegation of Technical Education and Vocational Training authority (TEVTA), who met him in chamber yesterday lead by Chairman TEVTA Rawalpindi Board Chaudhry Abdur Rauf.
During the meeting the director apprenticeship TEVTA Waheed Aslam briefed the President RCCI that TEVTA has developed a software namely Skilled Labor Marketing Information System (SLMIS) that provides easy approach to employers for the skilled people.
He added that this software is free of cost and equally beneficial for employers as well as job seekers. He further said that due to these efforts all our skillful labor can get the opportunities of the right jobs in right places.
President RCCI assured them full support of Rawalpindi chamber and business community. On the occasion Senior Vice president RCCI Saqib Rafiq, vice president Aqil Obaid, and other executive members of the standing committee were also present.
