Rangers arrest eight suspects from Karachi

Rangers have declared war against forcible collecting Fitra and Zakat in the holy month of Ramadan as they conducted raids across the city and nabbed eight people including four target killers.

The raids were conducted in Kharadar, Baldia and Ranchor line, the spokesperson of the Law Enforcement Agency (LEA) said.

It further said the detained target killed and extortionists belonged to Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) militant wing.

A weapon supplier to the militant wing of the political party was also nabbed in the raid, he added.

Rangers spokesperson said to have recovered a machine gun, four pistols and over 2,000 bullets from the arrested suspects.

They were shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation.
