Earlier on Monday, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had said that preparations for the OIC summit have been completed and Chinese foreign minister and other foreign ministers will arrive in Pakistan as special guests.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the 48th meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers will be held. Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the meeting tomorrow. More than 100 resolutions will be discussed in the meeting. Tomorrow the chairmanship of OIC will be transferred to Pakistan for one year.

On the sidelines of the meeting, we will also have the opportunity to hold bilateral meetings, Qureshi said. Meetings of our political committee are being held regularly. Even today, there will be a meeting of the political committee headed by the prime minister. We do not want confrontation. We will fight the no-confidence motion in a constitutional manner. It is the responsibility of the opposition to complete the numbers. We want guidance from the Supreme Court to end horse trading, the foreign minister further said.

He said that he would also seek guidance from the Supreme Court on whether these members would be disqualified for life. If they are not eligible for life then they should think twice before taking this step. Qureshi said that he laughs at Bilawal over many things. But, he will learn with time, the foreign minister said.

He said: “Bilawal grow up for God’s sake. For OIC every government has played a role in its own era.”
