PSL-VI postponed over growing number of Covid-19 cases among players

KARACHI: The Pakistan Super League’s sixth edition has been reportedly postponed for indefinite period over growing number of coronavirus cases among the players and officials.

The decision was taken during a virtual meeting between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the franchise owners.

Six players and an official has so far tested positive for the coronavirus.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will announce the decision in a press conference at 3pm today, sources said.

Earlier, the sixth edition of the PSL had begun on Feb 20 and 14 matches were played in the mega event.
