PSL caused smog in Lahore: LHC

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court’s Justice Shahid Karim has remarked that the Pakistan Super League caused return of smog to the city, warning of taking strict action against the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) once the mega event ends.

The LHC heard a petition filed for remedy of smog. Justice Shahid Karim heard the plea filed by citizen Haroon Farooq. The judicial water commission submitted the report to the court.

Justice Shahid Karim also expressed anger over the PCB during the hearing, observing that smog had return to Lahore due to the PSL. I will take strict action against PCB as soon as PSL is over.

If you want to have a one-month cricket tournament then manage traffic, he added.

The court expressed concern over the situation in the city, saying that due to the PSL, the environment has deteriorated.
