President Erdoğan, Saudi King Salman discuss Gulf crisis in phone call

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Saudi King Salman had a phone call early Thursday, in which they discussed the Gulf crisis and the appointment of the new Saudi crown prince.

Erdoğan and the Saudi King agreed to find ways to solve the crisis surrounding Qatar, presidential sources stated.

The parties also agreed to have a meeting in the upcoming G20 summit in Germany’s Hamburg, sources said.

Erdoğan also congratulated the newly appointed crown prince in the call.
