THATTA: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said on Wednesday that politics was being done on the issue of Karachi garbage, adding that the PTI had also jumped on the political bandwagon.

Speaking to the media here, he said that the MQM-P and PSP were fighting over the garbage in Karachi. The PTI has also joined politics being done on the garbage issue.

The CM said: “We had formed Sindh Solid Waste Management when overall 4,000 tons of garbage was produced. Now 16,000 tons of waste is produced.”

Situation is not satisfactory as garbage is present in the city, he added.

The garbage lifted by the PTI leaders had been dumped near main thoroughfares in the city, Shah complained.
