JACOBABAD: One policeman was martyred and three cops were injured in of exchange of fire with robbers here on Thursday.
SSP Sajid Khokhar said that on information regarding presence of criminals, a team of police conducted an operation in Goth Bux locality of Jacobabad.
The robber gang taking shelter in the area started fire at police resultantly one policeman died while three others sustained injuries.
The robber gang managed to escape with looted valuables and arms after the encounter.
The body of martyred cop and the wounded policemen were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
