KARACHI: Police have registered a case of a shooting incident in which two protesting workers of the Pakistan International Airline (PIA) were killed earlier this week.

On the complaint filed by PIA’s Joint Action Committee Chairman Sohail Baloch, the case included provisions of murder and attempt to murder.

The FIR also accused five government persons — Mushahidullah, Pervaiz Rashid, Shujaat Azeem, Maqsood and Brigadier (retd) Asif — of hatching conspiracy.

The court had issued an order to register the first information report (FIR) of the incident.

On February 02, two PIA workers were gunned down during a protest demonstration against proposed privatisation of the national flag carrier in Karachi.
