PESHAWAR: A police patrolling team on motorcycles on Saturday evening was attacked by unidentified assailants in Peshawar, the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The armed attack left two policemen seriously wounded which one security official succumbed to wounds while being shifted to the hospital. The attackers managed to flee from the site immediately.
The wounded security personnel were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar. Law enforcement agencies have cordoned off whole area and commenced search operation to seize the culprits.
